What kind of recording service does Designer Music offer? We offer a digital recording service using sound modules to create and edit sounds specifically to suit your purposes. If you want a cost effective way of recording your music, producing a quality finish that not only sounds great but is also 100% accurate, then this is the service for you. We can record onto CD or produce MP3s. If you require some musicians to record your music, click here to use our musician finder service. 1. Simply complete the online order
form telling us what you want us to do. You will be given
the choice of sending us your printed or handwritten music through
the post or uploading files through our online form. Can I submit an order from outside of the UK? Yes, However, you can only receive
your order via download from our web site. top Normally we can complete a simple 1-2 page piano piece within 24hrs providing the sheet music you have sent us is in good condition and the print is legible. If you send us music files the process will be quicker. Obviously, the more instruments involved and the larger the piece, the longer it will take and we therefore recommend that you give us plenty of time. If there are copyright issues, (see copyright question), this may delay the completion of your order. What format must my music be in? You can send us neatly handwritten or printed scores or anyone of the following music files:
We prefer you to send us files. You can upload them to us using our online form. UK only (click

Outside of the UK: As every order is unique, we cannot
provide an accurate price list. To find out how much your
specific recording would cost, please submit an online
request. There is no-obligation and we'll email you with
a price and an estimated time for completion. You may accept
or decline our quote. Designer Music is determined to defend copyright and the interests of musicians in general. Therefore if necessary, we will check the copyright status, where appropriate, for sheet music submitted to us for any of our services. If there are copyright restrictions, there may be additional charges to be made. Some copyright owners may allow their music to be recorded for an individual for educational purposes but may insist that the file is destroyed after it has served its purpose. On rare occasions, the recording of such a piece may even be prohibited. Any copyright restrictions including charges, will be advised to the customer before any recording is made and before any payment details need to be given. What happens if I'm not satisfied with my recording? If you are unhappy with your recording, you must inform us within 7 days telling us exactly what you wish to be altered. We will make every reasonable effort, free of charge, to make all the necessary changes required. We may also, at our own discretion, decide to completely redo the project, starting from scratch. However, unfortunately, because of the nature of the product, we can't offer refunds, sorry. Please read our terms and conditions for more info. |
